This is a full-time on-site role for a Food Service Director, located in Clarksville, TN. The Food Service Director will oversee and manage daily food service operations for a healthcare facility, ensuring high-quality food preparation and timely service. Responsibilities include directing staff, implementing operational standards, managing food and beverage purchasing and inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Financial oversight, including budgeting and P&L management, is a key aspect of the role.
The director will work closely with clients and stakeholders to meet dietary needs and optimize service delivery, while fostering an engaging and professional environment for the team.
- Experience in Food Service and Food Preparation, with a strong understanding of culinary standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in P&L Management, Budgeting, and financial oversight to ensure operational efficiency and fiscal responsibility.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage management and ability to lead a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills for managing diverse teams and interacting with healthcare staff and clients.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or large-scale food service is a plus.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Serv Safe certification, or similar credentials are highly desirable.
