The WMS Super User is responsible for the efficient transmission, storage, and analysis of information through network systems, the Internet, and computer databases. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s computer systems. The role provides general maintenance and system updates on network hardware and software, analyzes problems, and monitors networks to ensure availability to users. The individual may gather data to evaluate system performance, identify user needs, and determine system and network requirements.

The position may require being “on call” outside of normal business hours to resolve system failures or other issues. The role requires experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Acts as primary support of the client’s system solutions for the user community.
• Develops and maintains tracking tools for support service requests and resolutions by location and resource.
• Engages appropriate expert resources when complex support issues arise outside of the WMS-Red Prairie and/or SAP applications.
• Works with the company’s team to close support service requests and coordinate testing activities.
• Works with project teams to implement, maintain, and improve internal systems.
• Ensures company assets are maintained responsibly.
• Communicates relevant IT-related information to site management and client management.
• Maintains system efficiency, ensuring the site’s computer system operates smoothly.
• Tests and coordinates modifications to the system and troubleshoots problems.
• Maintains communication with corporate IT and operations staff.
• Collaborates with corporate IT to resolve complex issues.
• Determines methods to store, organize, analyze, use, and present data.
• Produces regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Ensures all RF Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current.
• Trains associates on updated SOPs, Microsoft Office, WMS programs, and RF guns.
• Responds to all inquiries about WMS-Red Prairie and related computer issues.
• Refers questions to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Maintains professional verbal and written communication with all internal and external customers.
• Adheres to professional etiquette standards when communicating with management, coworkers, customers, and visitors.
• Assists with various research projects and special projects.
• Oversees recruitment, retention, and development of people for the operation within scope of responsibility.
• Ensures procedures exist at all sites to guarantee client service, productivity, and facilities and equipment maintenance.
• Sets goals to provide continuous improvement for the assigned site.

• Performs other duties as required.

• Mid to Senior Microsoft Office skills.
• Technical knowledge of technologies relevant to assigned applications, business unit, or region.
• Experience in administration and maintenance of infrastructure, software, and systems.
• Experience with Red Prairie, RF/RDTs, UNIX, proprietary WMS.
• Wi‑Fi and RF system and equipment experience.

• English (reading, writing, verbal).
• Interpersonal communication and language skills.
• Facilitation skills to communicate at all organizational levels.
• Basic to intermediate communication skills.
• Business and financial acumen (analysis, problem solving, judgment).
• Analytical skills (data storage, data management, mining).

• Either a four‑year degree in a computer‑related field or a two‑year degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum of two years of job‑related experience.
• Preferred: 3‑5 years of experience.
• Experience dealing with end users, vendors, and clients.
• End‑to‑end understanding of business intelligence and components to run a BI environment.
