Senior Network Specialist
- Cutover Support

This is a strong opportunity for experienced network professionals who are currently between roles or interested in picking up a short-term project while pursuing their next long-term opportunity.

Overview

We are seeking four Senior Network Specialists to provide onsite support for a network cutover project at a facility in Clarksville, TN. This short-term engagement will focus on deploying network switches, connecting devices, validating connectivity, and troubleshooting issues during and after the cutover.

Responsibilities
  • Install and deploy network switches according to the established cutover plan.
  • Connect network devices, endpoints, and related equipment.
  • Perform basic switch configuration and connectivity validation.
  • Test network connections before, during, and after the cutover.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, cabling, port, VLAN, and device communication issues.
  • Monitor the environment following the cutover and address post-deployment issues.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate network engineering teams.
  • Document completed work, identified issues, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate closely with onsite technical teams and project leadership to meet cutover timelines.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience supporting network deployments, migrations, or infrastructure cutovers.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise switches, network connectivity, TCP/IP, VLANs, ports, and cabling.
  • Experience installing, connecting, testing, and troubleshooting network devices.
  • Ability to diagnose connectivity issues efficiently in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Comfortable working onsite and following a structured implementation or cutover plan.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability for the full 4-6-week contract beginning September 14, 2026.
