Materials Handler- 3rd Shift

Area of Accountability:

Assist in the timely processing of all outbound material issues, incoming material receipts, and supply of necessary production parts to assigned areas of the plant.

Major Responsibilities:

* Transport production parts to assigned line using tow motor/lift truck

* Conduct all location transactions for parts delivered to warehouse and/or production lines

* Assist in resolving data accuracy problems associated with any warehouse transactions.

* Perform filing activities per departmental requirements.

* Assist in coordinating all quality discrepancies with purchasing and production scheduling personnel.

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or G.E.D. required.

* 1-year experience in manufacturing preferred

* Experience driving a tow motor preferred.

* Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.

* Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.

* Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specs.

* Must be mechanically inclined.
