Job Description & How to Apply Below

Step into a Day on Our Fab Floor You clock in, pull up a set of prints, and map out the build. You choose the right process for the job—MIG on carbon, TIG on stainless, maybe flux-cored or stick for heavier sections. You lay out and fit components to tight tolerances, tack, weld, and then verify every bead against spec. Grinders, torches, and measuring tools are at your side.

By shift’s end, you’ve turned raw stock into precise assemblies—safely, cleanly, and on schedule.

What You’ll Do
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, welding symbols, and established welding procedures.
  • Perform multi-process welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored) across carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, components, and equipment to specification.
  • Measure, cut, and fit materials using appropriate industrial fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and related shop tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Assist with layout and fit-up to ensure proper alignment, tolerances, and overall build quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding or fabrication issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training or welding certification preferred.
  • Hands-on welding and fabrication experience in a shop environment.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux-Cored welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Solid understanding of metal properties, cutting methods, and fabrication techniques.
  • Experience using industrial fabrication tools, measuring equipment, and welding machinery.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for a fabrication shop.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions.
Core Competencies
  • Uncompromising attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking under deadline.
  • Works independently and as part of a team; strong communication and time management.
Work Environment
  • Busy fabrication shop with exposure to noise, heat, and metal particulates.
  • PPE required at all times (welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, etc.).
