Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Neurology APP, you will enjoy a high degree of clinical autonomy while working alongside a collaborative team. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed neurological examinations and evaluating patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic neurological disorders.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive patient management plans, recording detailed progress notes, and ensuring continuity of care.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to accurately identify and assess patients' clinical problems.
- Prescribing targeted therapies or medications in alignment with clinic protocols and physician collaboration.
- Collaborating closely with the wider neurology team to optimize complex patient care.
- Advocating for health promotion and disease prevention while offering empathetic guidance and counseling to patients and their families.
- Education:
Master’s degree in Nursing (AANP/ANCC) or Physician Assistant Studies (NCCPA) from an accredited program. - Licensure:
Current and unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). - Experience:
2+ years of clinical provider experience specifically in neurology. - Skills:
Strong clinical acumen with a proven ability to work independently and autonomously. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality are essential.
