Job Description

Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) works alongside the surgeon in the operating room providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgeon during procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance with sterile technique.
• Provide perioperative patient care and support throughout the surgical process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and surgical events.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with extensive surgical experience.
• Additional training in perioperative nursing or certification as an advanced practice nurse.
• Strong understanding of sterile field management and surgical protocols.
