Registered Nurse, Emergency Department, Night Shift, TempForce - VCH

Assignment Details

Primary responsibility is to ensure coverage for the most significant scheduling needs across the organization, with assignments possibly requiring work on weekends and holidays. The role follows standards for full-time staff within each unit.

Duration: 13 weeks.

Location:

Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital, Clarksville, TN.

Unit:
Emergency Department (ED).

Shift: Night shift (6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.).

• Premium Pay – $50 / hr.
• Medical insurance benefits available through Temp Force.
• Assignment in the same hospital (possible float between units).
• RNs typically work 36–40 hours per week based on unit needs.

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient’s care to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient’s progress toward goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Registered Nurse (RN) required.

Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program (or equivalent experience) and at least 1 year of relevant RN experience; preferred 2 or more years of recent ED RN experience.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:

• Registered Nurse – Tennessee.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
