Registered Nurse II

Role: Registered Nurse II in a cardiovascular specialty, providing in-person patient care and support in a clinical setting.

• Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
• Precept new staff and evaluate clinical performance.
• Assist with patient assessments, prepare patients for procedures, and document medical histories.
• Resolve complex patient and management issues independently, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
• Support providers during examinations and procedures, maintaining a safe environment.
• Accurately record patient data, manage reports, and ensure equipment and supplies readiness.
• Coordinate patient appointments, relay test results, and facilitate patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and implement care per physician orders.
• Perform age‑specific care skills and participate in ongoing professional development.

• Degree in nursing and valid RN license in Tennessee.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac or cardiothoracic surgery.
• CPR certification.
