Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

Job Overview

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position requiring a minimum of 4 years of Level II NICU experience, prior travel experience, and a TN or compact RN license.

• Active TN or compact RN license required and must be currently in hand
• Current certifications required: NRP and BLS
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 4 years of Level II NICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

• 13-week contract at a 270-bed hospital facility with a 13-bed NICU
• Level II NICU unit caring for patients 32 weeks gestational age and older
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Weekends required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to postpartum and L&D as helping hands if needed
• EMR:
  Cerner (strongly preferred)
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles are accepted at a lower rate
• Schedule must flex to meet unit needs — block scheduling is not available
• Navy scrubs required
• Candidates residing more than 75 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay rates
