American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring 2+ years experience, prior travel experience, and a TN or compact license.

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Float Pool position on 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Patient population is general Med/Surg, ages 18 and older
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6
• Floats within 5 different Med/Surg units as needed
• May float to the ER as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Weekend shifts required
• No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Unit determines the schedule

• Active RN license (TN state or compact) required to be on file at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Navy scrubs required

• Provide nursing care within a Med/Surg float pool, floating among multiple units and to the ER as needed
• No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to an Epic Go-Live
• Local candidates accepted, subject to a 75-mile radius rule with a lower rate for local candidates
