American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TN or compact licensure, prior travel nursing experience, and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a 270-bed hospital with a 44-bed ED unit
• Cares for a general population across all age ranges
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• No block scheduling offered; must remain flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• No floating required
• No charge nurse responsibilities required

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

• Navy scrubs required
• No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live
• Orientation limited to specific dates: 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, and 10/19
• Local candidates accepted at a lower pay rate
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for eligibility at the full travel rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered due to required prior travel experience
