Job Description:
Seeking an experienced ICU healthcare professional for a 13-week travel assignment in Clarksville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized patient support on a 21-bed unit, primarily during 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position requires flexibility, as the unit’s schedule is made internally and includes float responsibilities to Stepdown and ER as needed. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of ICU experience, prior travel experience, and hold a Tennessee license or a compact license on file.
Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH is mandatory. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to work with patients experiencing ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1-2. Expect to participate in orientation sessions on 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26, with no time off approved from 9/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go-Live. The hospital utilizes Cerner EMR, and scrubs in navy are required.
As part of this assignment, you’ll have the chance to contribute to a supportive team environment on a unit where the schedule is made by staff. Weekly hours total 36, with a gross weekly pay of approximately $1,987.
