Position Overview
Internship for 3rd/4th year veterinary students seeking a DVM, VMD, or foreign equivalent.
Externship opportunity at Nashville Veterinary Specialists - Clarksville. Students will gain real‑life clinical experience in a single or multi‑specialty hospital, working alongside experienced clinicians, board‑certified specialists, current interns, and residents.
Hands‑on skills include TPR’s, examinations, anesthesia, surgical procedures, catheterization, ultrasound, and other diagnostic procedures as available. The externship typically lasts 2–8 weeks depending on student and hospital schedules.
Qualifications- Third- or fourth‑year veterinary student from an accredited domestic or international veterinary school.
- Pursuing a DVM, VMD, or foreign equivalent degree.
