Duties
- Act as a technical resource for manufacturing by providing quality expertise to assist with development of APQP documentation, including control plans, PFMEAs, flow charts, and inspection plans.
- Support manufacturing in achieving quality and policy deployment goals.
- Actively participate and assist manufacturing to ensure quality requirements are in compliance in daily operations.
- Use a combination of Quality and Six Sigma tools to ensure quality requirements are in compliance with industry standards, ISO/TS16949:2009, and customer‑specific requirements.
- Investigate customer concerns, develop containment activities, and coach 8D team in implementation of process and system countermeasures. Ensure satisfactory completion of 8D documentation prior to submission to customer.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, ISO/TS16949:2009, and customer‑specific requirements.
- Manage action plans for quality improvements.
- Actively support and manage within Brazeways’ mission, vision, Code of Conduct, and Process‑Based Leadership guidelines.
- Actively support 5S and Safety programs.
- Support customer relationships with travel as needed.
- BS degree and at least 1 year’s experience in high‑volume component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO and/or IATF standards.
- Experience with APQP, Control plans, Flow charts, 18D, and Inspection plans.
