As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of product excellence by performing rigorous in-process inspections and audits. You will ensure that every item leaving our facility meets strict quality benchmarks, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Conduct systematic sampling and testing of raw materials and finished goods across active production lines.
- Operate laboratory instrumentation and specialized testing equipment to verify product specifications.
- Document and log all quality data accurately into digital tracking systems and spreadsheets.
- Perform detailed visual inspections to identify and flag potential manufacturing defects early.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, strictly adhering to all industrial safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of essential testing supplies to ensure uninterrupted quality operations.
- Communicate findings clearly to supervisors to support continuous process improvement.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain precise documentation.
- Proficiency in basic computer tasks, including data entry and Excel.
- Physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds and navigate industrial environments.
- Commitment to workplace safety and hazard recognition.
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
