Service Technician

Overview

Jenkins and Wynne Ford is seeking Service Technicians to join our team! As a family-owned dealership, we pride ourselves on providing excellent service for our customers and a supportive, growth-focused environment for our employees.

• Perform diagnostics on cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Complete recall services according to manufacturer requirements
• Handle a variety of repairs, from small part replacements to major engine repairs/replacements
• Maintain detailed documentation of all repairs and services performed
• Work closely with the service advisor team to ensure timely and quality repairs
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Uphold dealership and manufacturer safety and performance standards

• Prior automotive technician experience (all levels welcome, certifications a plus)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred but not required
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
