Duration: Monday, February 23 – Thursday, March 19 (Four Weeks)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate First Grade Long Term Substitute Teacher to cover a medical leave for a period of four weeks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a faith-based school community in Clawson, MI, and support our first grade classroom during this temporary absence.

• Provide high-quality instruction to first grade students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and standards.
• Collaborate closely with the first grade teacher to ensure a smooth transition before, during, and after the leave period.
• Maintain a positive, nurturing, and faith-centered classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behavior and support student learning and development.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, administration, and parents as needed.

• Teaching certification preferred, especially in elementary education or early childhood.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
• Strong commitment to supporting a faith-based educational environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
