This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional anesthesia services in a dynamic surgical environment, supporting a variety of patient cases from pediatrics to geriatrics. In this role, you will provide sporadic PRN coverage within a busy surgical setting that includes general, endoscopy, and trauma cases. Operating under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, you will manage anesthesia during approximately 20 surgical cases daily in a fully staffed operating room environment with state-of-the-art Epic EMR systems. This position requires experienced CRNAs comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, trauma-level 4 facility with an annual surgical volume of 13,000.
Required Skills:
- Valid and current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
- Proven experience working independently in anesthesia
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques across diverse patient demographics
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with Epic EMR system usage
Skills:
- Prior experience in a trauma or level 4 trauma center
- Experience with pediatric to geriatric anesthesia care
- Proficiency with anesthesia equipment and monitoring
- Previous PRN or sporadic coverage experience
Education and Experience:
- Master’s or higher degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice post-certification
- Prior experience working in hospital operating rooms, preferably in trauma settings
- Must complete Epic EMR training prior to start or submit a waiver if experienced
- Orientation required before assignment begins
- Must pass a physical and 5-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (costs not reimbursed)
- Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Michigan
- Travel and licensure reimbursement available as applicable
Hourly Pay Rate: $187.60
