Indie Filmmakers Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit film collective dedicated to supporting independent filmmakers by funding projects, creating jobs for cast and crew, and developing opportunities for emerging creative talent.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager & Growth Partner to help grow our presence on Instagram and Tik Tok
, increase engagement, and build an audience that connects with our mission and film projects.
This is not just a posting role—we are looking for someone who understands content strategy, audience growth, and virality mechanics
, and who can help shape how our stories are told online.
We already have film content, behind-the-scenes material, and ongoing productions, but need help turning that into consistent, high-performing social media growth.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute Instagram + Tik Tok growth strategy
- Turn film content, BTS footage, and updates into engaging short-form content
- Identify trends, formats, and hooks that increase reach and virality
- Help plan and schedule consistent posting strategy
- Optimize captions, hashtags, and posting timing
- Collaborate with filmmakers to shape storytelling for social media
- Monitor analytics and adjust strategy based on performance
- Help grow followers, engagement, and awareness of our mission
