Assistant Store Manager - Sales

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will grow the company brand by delivering best‑in‑class service and bringing to life a distinctive world of adult beverages and more for our customers.

Internally referred to as Assistant Manager, you will report to the Store Manager and be responsible for driving sales, supporting store operations, and building a sales and service culture that expands the customer base and maximizes profitability.

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day‑to‑day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising, and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example, fostering a welcoming and knowledgeable store atmosphere, and resolving customer issues.
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience with 2+ years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales‑focused team.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend and stand on feet for 8-10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Pay range: $21.31 – $30.68 per hour.

Anticipated close date: 120 days from posting date.
