The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) is actively recruiting experienced and dedicated professionals to serve as Correctional Sergeants. These positions are located in facilities across the state and provide a competitive salary range and excellent benefits for qualified applicants.

Salary: $47,839.20 - $80,121.60
Note:
The starting salary is determined based on education, experience, or a combination of both.
This is a full-time position that includes supervising a small unit of correctional officers or performing highly responsible duties in a specialized area of Corrections.
Applicants must meet the requirements below:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of correctional work in the security of inmates at the level of Correctional Officer or higher
- Incumbents must be certified by the Alabama Peace Officer's Standards and Training Commission in order to obtain permanent status in this classification. Please attach a list of all training and certifications to your resume and State Personnel application.
