Reports To: Director of Human Resources and Business and Finance Coordinator

The Finance Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to the business office in the area of business office operations and accountability for the Providence Creek Academy Charter School.

  • Knowledge- a working knowledge of best practices, our current charter, State and local expectations and systems as pertaining to payroll and finance
  • Dedication- a desire toaid all personnel and the school in matters pertaining to finance
  • Community- the ability to have all personnel compliant, educated, and up to date in all finance and payroll systems; address community concerns pertaining to budget
Major Responsibilities Include:

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources and Business and Finance Coordinator, the Finance Administrative Assistant will assist and support with the following duties:
  • Process accounts payable via FSF including verifying validity/approval of invoices prior to processing.
  • Provide centralized ordering and purchasing for PCA including adherence to PCA's policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to the Business Office including, but not limited to audits, state reports, purchasing, ordering, and accounts receivable.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Education:
  • An associate's degree in a business-related field (ex. Finance, business administration, human resources).
  • A bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
Experience
  • 2 years of experience in a professional office/business administration setting (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and school systems (ex. PHRST, FSF)
Skills

Ability to:
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with various levels of staff.
  • Understand and implement protocols, procedures, and policies passed down through the state.
  • Remain organized with filing and systems.
  • Complete all required deadlines efficiently.
  • Collect and maintain all required documents and update all necessary operating systems.
Compensation:

This position will require approximately 10-20 hours per week per week through July of 2026 (subject to change).

Compensation will be based on education and experience.
