Marine Instructor (MI)

Marine Instructor, First State Military Academy. The Marine Instructor (MI) works for the Senior Marine Instructor (SMI) in the daily performance of their duties. The MI is responsible for teaching the Leadership Education portion of the curriculum for their assigned grade level (freshman – senior), drill and ceremonies, leadership and character development of the cadets, cadet promotions, physical fitness training, and other duties as may be assigned, such as Marksmanship, Drill, Raiders, Cyber Patriot, and logistical duties in support of the MCJROTC program.

MIs are expected to maintain the Marine Corps' height and weight standards.

* All college degrees will be verified for accreditation. Degrees from colleges, universities, and institutions for higher education that cannot be verified as accredited, will not be accepted.

• Satisfactory FNI background check before being placed on payroll.
• Satisfactory child protection registry check.
• TB Test
• Mandatory direct deposit of pay.

Salary will be calculated on an individual basis.
