About the Role:The Design Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the manufacturing process by creating working designs of custom equipment while considering customer requirements, Eagle manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with CAD experience, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Minimum Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Formal education in CAD software (OnShape, PTC Creo, Solid Works preferred)
- Experience with custom product engineering or manufacturing projects.
- Associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred
- Troubleshoot and develop design solutions to meet customers’ needs.
- Create working models and shop drawings utilizing 3D CAD software.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for custom designs in support of manufacturing and MRP requirements
- Interpret approved submittals drawings, project specifications, industry standards, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards to create manufacturing documents for fabrication.
- Maintain organized and accurate engineering files and records within company systems
- Collaborate with teams inside and outside Eagle to clarify and outline design details.
- Continue to drive innovation across operations
- Other duties as needed
This is an on-site position. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Clayton, DE to support consistent attendance and schedule flexibility.
