A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a highly accomplished engineering leader to oversee engineering strategy, capital project execution, and team leadership across a large multi-site manufacturing network.
This is a high-impact Strategic Business Unit Engineering Manager responsible for driving engineering performance, leading a team of engineers, partnering with operations leadership, and managing significant capital investment programs across multiple facilities throughout North America.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead and develop a team of engineers supporting package manufacturing.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Finance, and executive leadership to align engineering priorities with business objectives.
- Oversee a portfolio of capital projects, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, reliability, safety, and operational performance.
- Manage capital planning, resource allocation, and engineering budgets across multiple facilities.
- Build strong relationships across plant leadership teams and provide strategic engineering direction.
- Establish standards, best practices, and engineering processes that support long-term business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 10+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of experience leading engineering teams, including direct management of multiple engineers.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale capital programs and project portfolios.
- Strong business acumen with experience partnering with senior operational and executive leaders.
- Proven ability to influence across multiple sites and lead organizational change.
