Position Overview

The company is seeking a Project Engineer (PE) to support the execution of commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience who is looking to grow within a General Contractor and gain exposure across all phases of construction.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, playing a key role in project coordination, documentation, and overall project success. This is a growth-oriented role with a clear path toward Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and reporting
• Support cost tracking, change orders, and budget updates
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Participate in jobsite meetings and support project communication
• Assist with buyout and subcontractor procurement
• Support quality control, safety compliance, and project closeout
  
  Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of commercial construction experience or relevant internship/co-op experience
• Exposure to ground-up or commercial construction projects preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar tools is a plus
• Desire to grow long-term within a General Contractor environment
