Position Overview
The company is seeking a Project Engineer (PE) to support the execution of commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience who is looking to grow within a General Contractor and gain exposure across all phases of construction.
You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, playing a key role in project coordination, documentation, and overall project success. This is a growth-oriented role with a clear path toward Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and reporting
- Support cost tracking, change orders, and budget updates
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Participate in jobsite meetings and support project communication
- Assist with buyout and subcontractor procurement
- Support quality control, safety compliance, and project closeout
Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of commercial construction experience or relevant internship/co-op experience
- Exposure to ground-up or commercial construction projects preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar tools is a plus
- Desire to grow long-term within a General Contractor environment
