Our client, a leading organization in the veterinary healthcare industry, is seeking a Construction Manager to join their team. As a Construction Manager, you will be part of the Construction Department supporting the company's expansion and facility development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?- Directly manage the full construction lifecycle for ground-up builds and major expansions across the U.S. with a network of trusted general contractors and other service providers.
- Serve as the central hub for the real estate team, working in close collaboration with Facilities, Equipment, Legal, and Real Estate Portfolio Management to ensure project alignment with broader asset strategies.
- Partner with the Legal Department to review, negotiate, and finalize construction contracts, ensuring risk mitigation and favorable terms.
- Develop and monitor project milestones to ensure all phases - permitting, foundation, dry-in, and finishing - stay on schedule and within budget.
- Utilize digital tools and reporting systems to create real-time visibility for stakeholders, including Operations Managers and hospital leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of commercial construction management experience, with a proven track record of managing ground-up projects across multiple states.
- Comfortable and effective in a "boots-on-the-ground" role, handling all administrative and project management tasks independently.
- Advanced knowledge of construction documents, building development, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Microsoft Office, CAD, and project management applications.
