Senior Associate Director of Digital Strategy, Advancement Communications - University Advancement

* Help manage centralized marketing email oversight; serve on the front lines of technical SFMC troubleshooting with UA users; assist with new SFMC features; help develop SFMC engagement reports to measure results and support list hygiene.
* Build SFMC emails (custom and templated), manage approval process, and schedule deployment; collaborate with UA partners from concept to deployment to ensure best practices and brand alignment.
* Develop training documentation for SFMC email builders/users; produce documentation for new Marketing Cloud features; help enforce best practices and university brand/style alignment; monitor ongoing template and design needs.
* Analyze email engagement across departments and make recommendations for improvement.
* Develop automations and journeys to streamline communication with specific audience segments.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Ability to travel to various on- and off-campus locations
* Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for broadcast email (accessibility standards, mobile optimization, A/B testing, etc.)
* Strong understanding of the importance of a cohesive and consistent visual brand identity.
* Prior experience in a higher education or non-profit (especially advancement) communications environment.
* Up to 22 days of vacation, 10 recognized holidays, and sick time.
