Project Manager IV - Road​/Signals

St. Louis County Department of Transportation/Public Works is seeking an experienced engineer to be a team supervisor for road and signal design projects. Our mission is to shape a safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation system.

The starting salary will be between $74,401 and $115,336 annually and will be based on experience and qualifications as well as budgetary considerations. • Project management for a variety of roadway and signal projects with a small team of engineers under direct supervision of the Project Manager IV.
• Hands‑on plan production utilizing Bentley Microstation.
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy, conformance with standards, and compliance with regulatory codes.
• Prepare and review cost estimates.
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist other employees solving work problems.
• Seal plans as required for design work completed under immediate personal supervision.
• Perform fieldwork as required.
• Prepare reports of work in progress.
• Meet with staff or other assigned professionals to discuss project status.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

• Registered Professional Engineer or Architect by the Missouri Board of Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors and five years of related experience.
