Job DescriptionAnswer telephone inquiries concerning technology includingquestions regarding SSO ids, passwords, MFA, Secure Auth,networking, Canvas, email, general purpose software and hardware.
Install and configure desktop computer systems running Windows,Macintosh OS and peripherals
Help faculty, staff, and students get connected to the campusnetwork via VPN (virtual private network), wireless devices andwired devices
Relocate desktop computers, projectors and peripherals in labs,classrooms, and faculty/staff offices as required
Provide computing and A/V hardware support, including preventative maintenance for the academic classrooms across campus and studentcomputer labs
Interact with coworkers and supervisor to determine customer support procedures that benefit the campus community
Provide installation of faculty and staff computers
Provide virus remediation
Provide and maintain laptops for checkout
Provide desktop reimaging services
Have the ability to support Managed Printing and softwareassociated with printing
Provide Triton Cards for faculty, staff, students and vendors
Shift8am-5pm
Minimum QualificationsAn Associate's degree in the defined field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with broad range of LAN and device knowledge skills andexpansive knowledge of device / workstation
hardware/software/operating systems.
Windows 11 and Apple Experience.
Very strong customer service skills.
Experience imaging and setting up systems preferred.
Anticipated Hiring Range$15.10 - $20.75
