PASCO®, the flagship brand of Pasco Systems Corp, designs and manufactures industrial automation systems built entirely in-house at our St. Louis facility. As a Fabricator, you'll be part of the shop team that turns engineered designs into the systems our customers depend on.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Read and interpret prints, drawings, and fabrication plans
- Perform MIG and TIG welding of structural, aluminum, and stainless steel, and general fabrication work on components used in industrial automation systems
- Operate saws, hand tools and other standard shop equipment
- Measure, cut, fit and assemble fabricated metal components according to project requirements
- Work independently on assigned fabrication tasks while keeping quality and schedule in mind
- Coordinate with shop team members when larger builds require shared support
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, engineering and assembly when questions or issues come up
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area by following shop procedures, safety rules and PPE requirements

Requirements WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORThe technical baseline:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a fabrication role preferred
- Extensive welding experience; MIG and TIG welding of structural, aluminum and stainless steel required
- Ability to read and understand prints, drawings and fabrication plans
- General knowledge of operating saws, hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Trade school or technical training is a plus

This is a plant floor position. You'll be on your feet for most of the day, with frequent bending, squatting, and twisting. Regularly lifts and moves materials up to 50 lbs, and beyond that occasionally.
