Garage Porter - Clayton, MO

Pay: $18/hr

Hours:

Tues 5pm - 7pm (2hrs), Thurs 5pm - 8pm (3hrs), Sun 10am - 1pm (3hrs)

The Garage Porter/Cleaner is responsible for ensuring garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Interface with customers, handle disputes, and provide effective communication between departments, co‑workers, customers and clients.

• Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned daily.
• Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots, sweeping, wiping down surfaces, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, painting, etc.
• Assist with snow removal and winter upkeep (managing sidewalks and garages).
• May need to operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to keep floors clean and safe.
• Ensure all daily duties on the maintenance checklist are completed efficiently and timely.
• Greet customers, respond promptly, and resolve problems with a caring attitude and rapport.
• Provide vehicle assistance to customers in garages and surface lots.
• Assist customers as needed over intercom, in lobbies, lanes, and the parking office.
• Promote customer relations by providing premier satisfaction with a friendly demeanor and willingness to help.
• Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience with general facility maintenance preferred
• Experience in customer relations.

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
