Hours:
Tues 5pm - 7pm (2hrs), Thurs 5pm - 8pm (3hrs), Sun 10am - 1pm (3hrs)
The Spirit of the PositionThe Garage Porter/Cleaner is responsible for ensuring garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Interface with customers, handle disputes, and provide effective communication between departments, co‑workers, customers and clients.
PrincipalJob Duties
- Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned daily.
- Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots, sweeping, wiping down surfaces, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, painting, etc.
- Assist with snow removal and winter upkeep (managing sidewalks and garages).
- May need to operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to keep floors clean and safe.
- Ensure all daily duties on the maintenance checklist are completed efficiently and timely.
- Greet customers, respond promptly, and resolve problems with a caring attitude and rapport.
- Provide vehicle assistance to customers in garages and surface lots.
- Assist customers as needed over intercom, in lobbies, lanes, and the parking office.
- Promote customer relations by providing premier satisfaction with a friendly demeanor and willingness to help.
- Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience in customer relations.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.

- Ability to speak, read, comprehend English.
- Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made.

- Stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
- Bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
