Sales & Catering Coordinator

We are currently hiring a Sales & Catering Coordinator!

Reporting

Reports to:

Director of Sales & Marketing

Essential Job Functions
  • Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries from potential clients by providing information about hotel.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service by assisting the sales team with addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide support to sales team by preparing presentations, proposals and contracts
  • Distribute group resumes, banquet event orders, daily change logs, and pick-up reports.
  • Coordinate sales team meetings with clients
  • Create room block and reservations for incoming groups
  • Create reservations for individual business travel guests
  • Create billing patterns for group room blocks and individual travel reservations
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure client satisfaction
  • Receive and distribute leads to sales team
  • Handle administrative tasks for department including filing, data entry, and office supply orders
  • General office administration tasks and general sales department
Minimum

Job Requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
  • Moderate knowledge in programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Exceptional time management, critical thinking, emotional intelligence and organizational skills required.
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Previous Lightspeed and CI/TY experience preferred
Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

May include crowded office setting or “close quarters”.

General office environment with limited physical activity.
