SummaryThe Senior Key Account Manager (Sr. KAM) is a salesperson responsible for meeting sales quotas and expense budgets for assigned clients by managing sales programs, promotional spending, distribution levels, shelf placement and strategic planning initiatives. Our clients are manufacturers, vendors, or brands that have contracted Advantage as their sales force, while our customers are retailers, wholesalers, or distributors buying those brands.
The Sr. KAM collaborates with clients to develop strategic plans, works with retailer associates on Headquarter calls, and owns the relationship with our clients by making spending decisions and signing, implementing and executing contracts on behalf of the clients.
This position also works closely with internal Advantage Solutions associates—Customer Managers, order entry, claims, category management, schematics and retail associates—to increase sales volume within a market. The incumbent may service one or multiple clients' goals, covering Pioneering, Regional, or Tier 3 manufacturers.

ResponsibilitiesThe Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers, and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods.
- Drive our clients' business at assigned customers by increasing distribution, growing sales dollars, units, share, and other KPIs while staying on spend.
- Ensure retail and merchandising execution and basic eCommerce execution.
- Achieve P&L targets; manage business for each assigned client.
- Implement marketing strategies and analyze trends and results to meet department/client income and expense budget goals.
- Monitor and drive revenue growth through efficient management of promotional spending within guidelines; identify opportunities and align resources to secure them.
- Meet and/or exceed Client's goals for sales, distribution, pricing, shelving and promotional volume.
- Identify and provide standard services to support the "Customers as Clients."
- Launch strategies to pursue new opportunities.
- Manage and maximize manufacturer marketing/promotional funds to achieve sales goals while staying within financial guidelines.
- Secure Client-approved schematics for all client brands by coordinating with schematic, reset and retail departments.
- Implement customer Headquarter calls and penetrate key positions at retailer.
- Organize business unit team to retain and expand all client relationships.
- Assist team to navigate the larger ASM organization to align needed resources and support to ensure specific client and/or customer initiative success.
- Facilitate communication, opportunities, challenges and workflow with other team members and attend all client meetings and reviews.
Direct Reports:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports.
Indirect Reports:
Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports.
Education Level (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Travel is an essential duty and function of this job, up to 20%.
