Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Devereux — You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need.

Direct Support Professional positions are located in Clayton, NJ

Salary: Starting at $20.00 and increases with education/experience.

• Ensure our individuals are safe and healthy while attending our day program
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving daily living goals (e.g., food preparation, cooking, cleaning, shopping)
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs to meet social, emotional, physical, and personal needs
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from day program

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
• Valid non-provisional driver’s license
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays
• Empathetic and able to work in a team-oriented care environment
