Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily field operations on a major pharmaceutical construction project, scheduling and planning activities at the project site, and ensuring the right materials, equipment and people are there to get the job done. Direct subcontractors, manage temporary site services and logistics, and supervise structural steel erection, concrete placement, and the reassembly of project‑specific equipment in accordance with design, quality, and safety standards.

Review and approve Daily Work Plans and Job Hazard Analyses to confirm proper sequencing, staffing, risk and hazard controls before work begins, while maintaining detailed daily reports and providing timely progress updates, inspection coordination, and issue resolution. Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance, supporting the successful and timely delivery of critical project milestones.

Employment Requirements

Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full‑time basis, as required by the nature of their role.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 7 years of construction site experience
  • At least 7 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager overseeing crane and rigging activities
  • Oversee all site services, supplemental steel installations, equipment setting, and concrete operations across both AP1 and AP2 buildings
  • Support the review of rigging, approval and enforcement of lift plans, equipment installation plans, safety documentation, and coordinating crane access, logistics, and equipment deliveries
  • Strong background in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP‑regulated construction environments
  • Maintain strong coordination with multiple trades, subcontractors, and client representatives across two separate production buildings
  • Participate in schedule alignment meetings, risk reviews, and site coordination calls
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to enforce site safety protocols
  • Provide feedback to project management on field construction activities and manpower to forecast schedule impacts and resolve field issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in use of software such as Navisworks, Bluebeam, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word
  • Safety leader (JHA’s revision / daily signed off permits)
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Previous experience on large‑scale pharmaceutical or GMP regulated construction projects
  • Experience working on constrained sites with strict safety and logistics requirements
  • Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills
  • Full‑time on‑site role within an active construction environment
  • Ability to work extended hours and participate in off‑shift or weekend work as required
  • Must be able to navigate large construction job sites, climb, and work outdoors in construction conditions (uneven terrain, in climate weather)
