Project Manager - Residential Design​/Build Remodeling

Closer Look is looking for a Project Manager who takes real ownership of a job site — from pre-construction through the final walkthrough — and treats "on time, on budget, on quality" as a personal standard, not a suggestion. You'll run the daily execution of remodeling projects: managing trades, tracking budgets and schedules, keeping clients in the loop, and making the calls that keep a job moving forward.

This isn't a role where you wait to be told what's next. We're handing you real autonomy — which comes with real accountability.

• Run day-to-day production on assigned remodels: scheduling trades, managing materials, tracking budget and timeline
• Lead weekly project review meetings with clients — you're the face of the job site
• Keep job logs, checklists, and documentation tight and current (not "get to it eventually" current)
• Own change orders from identification through approval, with clear specs and cost/schedule impact
• Build and maintain relationships with trades, inspectors, suppliers, and clients that make projects easier, not harder
• Spot problems before they're expensive and bring solutions, not just flags

• You're still learning, on purpose. Codes change, methods improve, and you actually want to keep up — not because someone's making you.
• You take initiative before someone has to ask. If something's off on a job, you don't wait for permission to fix it.
• You collaborate instead of empire-building. Designers, trades, office staff, ownership — you work with people, not around them.
• You have tenacity that shows up in the boring moments. The punch list gets finished. The documentation gets done. The hard client conversation happens instead of getting avoided.
• You lead with benevolence. Trades and clients get treated like people, even when the day's been long and the schedule's tight.

• Experience managing residential remodeling or construction projects
• Working knowledge of current building codes and construction methods
• Comfort with project management software (we'll train you on ours)
• The ability to run a weekly client meeting and actually communicate — not just report numbers
• A track record of following through, not just starting strong
