As a Locum Physician specializing in General Medicine, you will play a crucial role in conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments that directly impact veterans' wellbeing. Leverage your expertise in family or internal medicine to deliver high-quality interviews and physical assessments within a flexible, supportive environment.

Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid state licensure in North Carolina
• Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine
• Familiarity with conducting compensation and pension exams preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform physical assessments including range of motion and strength testing
• Detail-oriented with excellent report documentation skills
• Ability to work independently at multiple locations within specified radius

• Experience in orthopedic surgery or rehabilitation medicine
• Prior experience with VA or veteran-related healthcare assessments
• Additional certifications in healthcare evaluation or physical assessment

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in general or internal medicine
• Prior experience in a medicolegal or assessments setting is advantageous

• Provider must have their own office location within the designated radius
• Availability for ongoing PRN assignments, with flexible scheduling options
• Ability to complete exams and administrative tasks efficiently within designated time frames
• Willingness to adhere to all documentation and reporting protocols
• Local candidates only; travel expenses included in rates
