Piper Companies is hiring a Network Engineer – IT Automation for a global healthcare organization specializing in innovative treatments for chronic diseases located in Clayton, North Carolina. The Network Engineer – IT Automation will support a new expansion project at a multi-billion-dollar facility expansion providing tier 1 network support for all network devices & services in Clayton, North Carolina. The Network Engineer – IT Automation role is a yearlong that requires you to sit in person in Clayton, North Carolina.
Responsibilities- Operation of infrastructure network equipment, systems, and documentation under applicable government regulations and guidelines.
- Provide Tier 1 IT network support for all devices & services.
- Supporting and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and related services.
- Helping standardize network configurations and identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience or ten (10) years of direct experience required.
- Possession of a strong networking background with Manufacturing / Operational experience.
- Certification in networking infrastructure with preference for CCNA or CCNP certifications.
- Experience with production line startup and operational support.
- $145,000 - $175,000 paid hourly at a rate of $69.71/hr - $84.13/hr
