Job Title:
Manufacturing Process Technician
Join our team as a Manufacturing Process Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting product manufacturing and development activities. You will ensure compliance with healthcare laws and industry regulations while incorporating pre-planned process improvements and cost reduction programs into manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Support product manufacturing and product development activities.
- Complete routine documentation associated with product manufacture.
- Perform area equipment and process validations following validation procedures.
- Conduct in-process product testing according to standard procedures.
- Assist in manufacturing activities across different departments.
- Adhere to cGMPs, established manufacturing practices and procedures, and quality regulations.
- Perform all duties in a compliant and ethical manner in line with healthcare laws and industry codes.
- Knowledge of cGMP operations.
- Ability to understand and execute written instructions.
- Basic math skills including knowledge of the metric system.
- Computer competencies, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with computerized inventory systems like SAP is an advantage.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or Associates Degree with a minimum of five years of relevant manufacturing experience, or Bachelors’ Degree in a science discipline with one to three years’ experience.
- Minimum one year of related experience in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industry.
- Good organizational skills and ability to execute a work plan.
- Understanding of risks associated with processing, handling, and storage of hazardous materials.
- Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
Our work environment requires physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, and walking. You must be able to push, lift, grasp, finger, and feel, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary for tasks including reading, writing, and analyzing. You will work in conditions with noise, proximity to moving parts and equipment, and exposure to chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust.

This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
