• Lead, coach, and mentor shift process teams to execute production plans to meet quality, customer, and business objectives.

• Create a safe, productive, engaging workplace
• Promote adherence to all quality objectives, specifications, and requirements
• Coach and mentor work cell leaders, specialists, process team members, and technical specialists (as applicable)
• Provide direction, prioritization, and motivation for shift team members
• Manage people for all shift team members (personnel issues, employment decisions, vacation planning, etc.)
• Perform process confirmation of standards to ensure compliance
• Collaborate across shift teams to share, standardize, and continuously improve

• Ensure direct reports have IDPs with annual goals/measurements and interim reviews
• Manage communication and application of company policies/procedures and Novo Nordisk Way

• Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years manufacturing experience (preferably pharmaceutical); or Associate’s + 2 additional years; or HS/GED + 4 additional years
• 3+ years direct supervisory experience (or internal completion of NN leadership talent program GROW)
• 2 years Aseptic Processing experience (preferred for Aseptic Production)
• Ability to read/write/understand complicated product documentation and SOPs (preferred)
• Computer expertise: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, PLCs; PAS-X a plus
• Process improvement/Lean or Six Sigma (preferred)
• Systematic problem-solving and decision-making (required)
