Warehouse Technician

A Warehouse Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by efficiently managing the flow of goods in and out, with both physical and systematical transactions. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments using existing warehouse management processes and systems.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Palletize, build crates, label, schedule, and time shipments.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all items to prevent damage.
• Assist in maximizing space utilization and efficiency in the warehouse.
• Ensure all products are stored in a logical, organized and easily accessible manner.
• Utilize systems for inventory management and tracking shipments.
• Interact with freight carriers.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving processes and improve efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate processes and procedures to identify ways for improvement and cost reduction.
• Foster a team‑oriented, organized, and safety‑focused environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned or any other tasks as assigned by Leadership.

• Experience with loading and unloading freight efficiently.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes.
• Knowledge of software for inventory management is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely within a warehouse setting.
• Strong order‑picking skills to ensure accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
• Basic math skills for handling inventory counts and shipment calculations.
• Able to read and decipher a tape measure.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3‑5 years in warehouse, shipping, and inventory processing.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required.
