Elementary School Paraprofessional – Now Hiring!

Position Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week)

Start Date: August 2026

Job Summary: Clear Creek is seeking a student-centered paraprofessional to join our elementary team. The ideal candidate will support student learning, behavior, and engagement in both the classroom and school environment, while fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive school culture. This position works under the general supervision of the principal and the direct guidance of a certified teacher. Responsibilities include working directly with students—individually or in small groups—and performing clerical duties as assigned.

Performance will be evaluated periodically.

• Assist in the implementation of instructional plans under the direction of a certified teacher
• Provide academic and behavioral support to individual students or small groups
• Support students with varying needs, including physical, emotional, and learning differences
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
  
  Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times
• Maintain confidentiality of student information
• Perform clerical tasks as needed to support instruction

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to follow teacher directions and implement strategies consistently
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a commitment to student growth
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and contribute to a positive school culture
