Position Summary:
Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company is hiring a Commercial & Ag Loan Assistant for our Clear Lake Office. This full-time position will prepare loan documents and maintain business banking documents, files and accounts. The ideal candidate is community-focused with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Candidates must possess a high-level of personal accountability, strong attention to detail and follow through.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provides administrative support to Business Banking Department by performing all types of clerical functions.
- Prepares and maintains customer files; including typing loan documents, preparing loan tickets, performing customer advances on operating lines and maintaining customer identification files on the core database system.
- Maintains proficiency in commercial and agriculture documentation and processing.
- Acts as a lead for document management program for the Business Banking Department Mason City Offices.
- Maintains active, positive involvement in the community and the Bank.
- Actively nurtures relationships with existing bank customers using face-to-face communication.
- Maintains current knowledge of bank products to effectively assist customers with accounts and services.
- Saturday morning rotation as needed

Qualifications:
- Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Some college is preferred. - Three (3) or more years of experience in preparing commercial and agricultural loan documentation is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Internet and PC proficiency; ability to learn, understand, and assimilate new technology knowledge.

Typical work
Schedule:
- Approximately 40 hours per week; schedule between the hours of 8:00-5:00 M-F.
- Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 occasionally as needed
- Candidates will be expected to be able to be flexible with scheduling based upon the needs of the Bank.
