Facilities Service Maintenance Technician - Distribution Center

Sunday, 4:30pm – 1am
Monday to Thursday, 5:30pm – 2am
Shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required.

Competitive base pay of $33/hr plus a $1.50/hr shift differential and a signing bonus of $2,000. This position is also eligible for benefits.

McKesson’s temperature‑controlled Distribution Center in Clear Lake, IA is seeking a Sr Facilities Representative to support building maintenance and oversee repairs of internal and external areas, conveyor systems, and other distribution equipment. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks while communicating professionally with all organizational levels.

• Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks.
• Assist with service and repairs of conveyor systems and distribution equipment.
• Maintain and operate power equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and other assistive devices.
• Support minor tasks such as picking up garbage or other general labor duties.
• Adhere to lock‑out/tag‑out and OHSHA safety procedures.
• Handle work orders and coordinate maintenance activities.

• Five or more years of related experience in facilities, maintenance, or service technician roles.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing a variety of equipment used in a distribution center environment.
• Knowledge and safe use of hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, and similar maintenance equipment.
• Basic exposure to mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, and other trades.
• Experience with lock‑out/tag‑out and OHSHA protocols.
• Preferred work‑order experience.
• Operating knowledge of power equipment considered a strong asset.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift and forklift use, climbing up to four‑story heights in a warehouse environment.
• May work at heights and in cold areas at times.
