Client Support Specialist - Immunizations Clinic
The Davis County Health Department, Family Health Division, Immunization Clinic is currently hiring for a full-time Office Specialist in Clearfield, Utah. This position performs forward facing, onsite customer service, specialized clerical work and receptionist duties within a clinic setting and during outreach services. Peak seasons (flu and back-to-school) require occasional evening and Saturday shifts for community clinical outreach. Flexible time off available for after-hours work.

Requirements:
- Level I:
High school graduation or equivalent plus six months of full time directly related clerical employment in an office or medical environment; an acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered. - Level II:
High school graduation or equivalent plus two (2) years of full time directly related clerical employment in an office or medical environment; an acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preference for fluency in Spanish and English. Preference for directly related clerical work experience at a medical clinic in the last 5 years.

Day to Day Duties:
- Welcomes and greets all patients, visitors, and guests to the clinic. Facilitates patient flow.
- Performs receptionist duties and provides information of a general nature, responds to inquiries by clients, prospective clients, and visitors in person or over the phone.
- Schedules and manages client appointments and reminders within operational standards and documents.
- Registers new clients and updates existing client demographics by collecting detailed client information including personal and financial information.
- Assists clients in completing required forms and submitting the required documentation. Reviews form and verifies accuracy and completeness. Screens client's insurance eligibility and enters information into the software application.
- Performs routine clerical duties; including filing, daily inventory, data entry, collecting payments, answering phones and relaying messaging. Respond to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
- Travels to and performs clerical duties at various outreach clinic sites within Davis County.
