Position OverviewValor 3 Services is seeking a professional, customer-focused Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Administrative Assistant to support the Military & Family Readiness Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah
.
This position provides administrative and customer service support for the Air Force Transition Assistance Program, helping separating and retiring military members successfully transition to civilian life. The successful candidate will serve as the primary administrative point of contact for scheduling appointments, managing program records, supporting classroom activities, and providing exceptional customer service.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule Transition Assistance Program appointments and workshops
- Manage Outlook calendars and appointment scheduling
- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist walk-in customers
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic records
- Monitor organizational email inboxes and respond to customer inquiries
- Prepare classrooms for workshops and training events
- Track attendance and maintain participant records
- Assist with document preparation and administrative correspondence
Support virtual meetings using Microsoft Teams - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide professional front desk reception and administrative support
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Minimum six months of administrative, office support, scheduling, or data entry experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with government personnel
- Must successfully pass a federal background investigation and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Experience supporting a military, Department of Defense, or federal agency
- Familiarity with military terminology and customs
- Experience scheduling appointments or coordinating training events
- Previous front desk or administrative support experience
