Northrop Grumman, Propulsion Systems, is currently seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Facilities Engineer to join our team. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility located at Clearfield, Utah.
As a Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for the concept, design, fabrication drawings, inspection requirements, procurement requirements, verification requirements, and fabrication support for tooling and equipment for Aerospace manufacturing applications.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Basic Qualifications:
This position can be filled at either a level 03 or 04.
Basic Qualifications for a level 03:
- BS Electrical/Controls Engineering and 5 years of work experience in Mechanical/Electrical design. Experience with either Allen Bradley, Beckoff, and Fanuc controls is desired.
- Demonstrated experience with automation and/or instrumentation/controls
Basic Qualifications for a level 04:
- BS Electrical/Controls Engineering and 8 years of work experience in Mechanical/Electrical design. Experience with either Allen Bradley, Beckoff, and Fanuc controls is desired.
- Demonstrated experience with automation and/or instrumentation/controls
Technical Skills:
- Desire, i.e. passion, to build and manufacture support hardware
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects and resources
- Leadership ability
- Technical attention to detail

Salary Range: $95,300 - $142,900
Salary Range 2: $118,600 - $178,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
