Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Engineer (Level
2) / Principal Industrial Engineer (Level
3). This position will be located at our Space sector in Clearfield, UT
. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Manufacturing & Operations team.

• Observe, understand and model the Least Waste Way with regards to full‑spectrum capacity analysis
• Positively impact the business by working with other engineering and non‑engineering disciplines to eliminate waste and improve processes
• Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Work collaboratively across disciplines to develop solutions with an emphasis on timeliness and execution
• Design and implement processes to improve efficiency and flow throughout the factory and back office
• Facilitate continuous improvement events to develop, define and improve processes in the forming and finishing of solid rocket motors
• Production performance metrics and analysis

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of experience or 0 years with Masters degree.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre‑requisite)
• The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company, to meet its business needs
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment for any kind of industry
